BREAKING: FG Orders Release of Sowore, Dasuki



The federal government of Nigeria in the early hour of today through the statement released by Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami has ordered the release of the convener of Revolutionnow protest and former presidential candidate of AA party in the last presidential election, Mr. Omoyele Sowore as well former National Security Adviser, colonel Sambo Dasuki from DSS detention.


Dasuki has been in detention for about four years now. He has been granted bails in the past by the courts while the DSS have refused to comply the orders of the courts
Similarly Omoyele Sowore has been detained for almost 150 days, granted bails by the court which were also not complied with by DSS until early this month when justice Ijeoma Ojukwu ordered that he be released within 24 hours on December 5, he was released same day but was rearrested in the premises of the court the following day by DSS an action that has attracted public condemnations from within Nigeria and international community especially USA.

The statement urge both men to enjoy the terms and conditions of their bail and to restrain from any act that jeopardize the public peace.
